Bispham CastAways

This Spring sees the return of Bispham CastAways’ for the opening of their 2025 season. They start this April with the farcical comedy, According To Rumour by Robert Scott and directed by Ian Dodd, with a couple of uses of adult language to be aware of. It follows the antics of Carter following his divorce party the night before that, for the life of him, he cannot remember at all! Unfortunately, when he wakes up he discovers a naked girl he’s never met before, his best friend unconscious and a surprise bag in the fridge! Then to top it all off, his Mum, Sister and her new fiancé decide to come to stay, and they bring a pair of twin foreign carers, who do not seem to understand what’s going on. The final misfit to turn up is a mailwoman, who has a tendency to get whacked in the head. Several events make for the random characters heading towards a funny showdown led by complete greed in this hilarious comedy that throws poor Carter into a tizzy!
